Warrants Division

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division at 401 West Markham in Little Rock Arkansas (501-340-6975) is located in the lower level of the Pulaski County Circuit Court House and is currently staffed with one Captain, one Lieutenant, one Sergeant and five Deputies. A civilian supervisor and two civilian clerks are also assigned to the Division.

The Division’s personnel work Monday thru Friday, 0800-1630 hours while maintaining an on call warrants deputy for after hour’s transports. The Warrants Division is responsible for the following duties:

  • Receiving, maintaining and service of arrest warrants including walk in traffic
  • Preparing and completing Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Reports as requested by courts
  • Maintaining on-call warrants functions
  • Managing hospitalized prisoners as required
  • Responding to escapee/walk away incidents at Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility
  • Weekly most wanted postings
  • Transporting prisoners from other counties to the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility
  • Serving/ enforcing juvenile pick-up orders
  • Bailiff duties as required upon demand for District and Circuit Courts
  • All related administrative functions (supervisory responsibility)

Fugitive Extraditions duties include:

  • Placing and lifting of detainers on incarcerated suspects
  • Obtaining waivers for extradition
  • Attending waiver of extradition hearings
  • Arranging transportation for extraditions
  • Contact point with bonding companies
  • Maintaining extradition billing documentation for recovery of costs
