The mission of the Criminal Investigations Division of the Pulaski County Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is to provide professional investigative services to the citizens of Pulaski County.

The Investigations Division is responsible for the investigation of crimes against Persons and Property. The Property Crimes Section is responsible for the investigation of crimes against property such as, but not limited to:

The Criminal Investigations Division is also tasked with reviewing cold cases in an effort to bring justice to the victims and families of crimes that have yet to be solved. Sometimes these crimes go unsolved due to the lack of a sufficient evidence and/or information that could lead to the successful prosecution of a suspect.
The Criminal Investigations Division of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office has teamed up with other state and local law enforcement agencies to form an “Internet Crimes Against Children” taskforce. These investigators identify, track, and arrest individuals involved with child pornography, video voyeurism of children, and “internet chatting”, i.e. attempting to lure children into meeting with them for illicit reasons.

The primary mission of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit is to collect intelligence information of criminal conduct related to narcotics trafficking in Pulaski County. These investigations include all levels of narcotics trafficking; drug interdiction programs and undercover narcotics purchases.
The Narcotics Unit works joint drug investigations with other City, County, State and Federal agencies. The Narcotics Unit is also responsible for the investigations of vice related crime (i.e. prostitution, gambling and alcohol related offenses).
In addition to their enforcement duties, members of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit conduct drug education and prevention classes for Churches, Schools and other Civic Groups upon request.
